The local garbage men sit on top of the truck and clang on a piece of metal really loudly so that you know it is time to take out the trash. I´m sure they delight in waking up most of San Miguel as they begin working as early as 6am.

This is a view of San Miguel de Allende. We are staying in the centro near the large cathedral. This colonial city reminds us both of Europe in many ways.

This is a view of Teotihuacan from the Temple of the Moon. The Sun temple is on the left, it is much larger than the Moon and offered a great view of the smog cloud over Mexico City in the distance.

We set the camera down on a rock for this one and were pleasantly surprised. There is a pyramid behind us that we ended up blocking...oh well.

Pyramid of the Moon. We climbed up it yesterday morning and were both out of breath when we reached the top.
